12/2007 AWARD-WINNING YEAR FOR INTER-GLOBAL EXHIBITIONS


(Denver, Colorado – December 17, 2007) This year has marked an award-winning year for the Inter-Global Exhibitions design team, which has been honored with three international exhibition design awards. IGE client UT Starcom’s exhibit took home two awards at Expo Comm Mexico and IGE received an award for their booth at Global Shop in Las Vegas.

Best Booth and Best Corporate Image – Expo Comm Mexico 2007
Expo Comm hosts the world’s leading telecom and broadband technology events. Exhibiting at Expo Comm Mexico provides UT Starcom an opportunity to converge with the key players in the communications field. Standing out among the show floor filled with 300+ exhibitors is crucial for UT Starcom. With this new exhibit property, UT Starcom made a powerful statement on the show floor with its large brand messaging and lifestyle images. With the help of IGE, UT Starcom’s double-deck booth design stood above the rest and achieved accolades from the industry for the second time receiving a Best of Booth design award in 2005 and now again in 2007. For this new exhibit property in 2007, UT Starcom also received Best Corporate Image. The booth awards are judged by EJ Krausse/Reed Expo.





Best Retail Booth – Global Shop 2007
Global Shop is the world’s largest annual retail design and in-store marketing expo and as a global exhibit firm, IGE knew they needed a strong presence to promote their services. So they practiced what they preach to their clients and built a larger-than-life brand image in their 10’x20’ exhibit space. The 14-ft.-high wall became the focal point in the space to establish the IGE brand identity. The graphics included a woman who is part of the IGE brand identity and delivers the “One Solution” message. The graphics on this wall also included the IGE positioning and the “Design. Value. Trust.” message that was carried throughout the exhibit. The exhibit design won Best Retail Booth out of the more than 900 exhibiting companies at the show. IGE included three plasma screen televisions that looped three different presentations: Design, Value, and Trust. These messages reinforced the positioning found in the exhibit graphics and important takeaways they wanted attendees to remember. In the Design presentation, IGE illustrated their total capabilities to demonstrate they designed powerful international – and domestic – experiences from exhibit design to retail installations.
